Job Title : Windchill Infrastructure and System Administration Lead

Location : Noida, Indore, Gurgaon (Gurugram), Hyderabad, Vadodara (Baroda), Chennai, Pune, Mumbai (Powai),Mysore, Bangalore

Experience : 12+ Years

Notice Period : Immediate / 15 Days

Qualification : BE/B.Tech /ME/ M.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management:

• Design, implement, and maintain Windchill server architecture including clustered environments.
• Perform system upgrades, patch management, and performance tuning.
• Ensure high availability and plan for disaster recovery and business continuity.

System Administration:

• Administer Windchill environments, including user account and access management.
• Monitor server and system health, track performance metrics, and conduct system audits.
• Implement and manage backup and recovery procedures.
• Manage file servers and ensure proper data storage practices.

Support & Troubleshooting:

• Lead troubleshooting efforts for Windchill server-side and client-side issues.
• Collaborate with CAD and PLM teams to resolve integration and performance issues.
• Serve as the primary liaison with PTC or other vendors for support, upgrades, and escalations.

Team Leadership:

• Supervise and mentor Windchill system administrators and technical staff.
• Manage team workload, resource allocation, and task prioritization.
• Conduct internal training sessions and promote knowledge sharing across teams.

Compliance & Documentation:

• Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and industry standards.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations, procedures, and change logs.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s/Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in Windchill infrastructure and system administration.
• Deep expertise in PTC Windchill and its ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with server OS (Windows/Linux), databases (Oracle, MS SQL), and network protocols.
• Familiarity with CAD tool integrations such as Creo, AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Proven leadership experience managing technical teams and large-scale infrastructure.

Preferred Skills:

• Windchill certifications or equivalent technical certifications.
• Experience in cloud deployments (e.g., Azure) and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware).
• Working knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipeline concepts.
