Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Wireless Network Engineer with expertise in Cisco SD-WAN and wireless technologies to support network implementation at banking sites. This role involves hands-on configuration, troubleshooting, and coordination with onsite technicians and telecom carriers to ensure seamless deployment and connectivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and configure Cisco SD-WAN appliances , switches, and wireless access points using Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN and Cisco Catalyst Center .
• Act as the focal point for circuit installations and testing .
• Perform pre- and post-checks on network equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during implementation.
• Provide daily status reports to management.
• Ensure smooth handover to production environments.
• Collaborate with onsite technicians for equipment installation.
• Coordinate with Telco carriers for circuit-related issues and lead head-to-head testing.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues promptly.
• Capture and verify post-change statistics against pre-change benchmarks.
• Ensure technician access compliance with SOACC security protocols .
• Escalate issues to the project team for additional support or direction.
• Report any pre-existing issues to Day 2 Operations team.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience in Cisco SD-WAN implementation and wireless networking.
• Hands-on knowledge of Cisco Catalyst Center and related technologies.
• Proficiency in network troubleshooting and connectivity issue resolution.
• Familiarity with Telco circuit testing and escalation processes.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a 24×7 support environment .

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cisco certifications (CCNA , CCNP ) or equivalent experience.
• Experience in banking or large-scale enterprise network deployments.
