Role Overview
In this role, you will spearhead the design, development, and optimization of wireless communication systems for our drone fleet. Your work will enable high-reliability, low-latency, and scalable communication essential for large-scale drone shows, multi-drone coordination, and real-time data exchange.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Build advanced wireless communication protocols for drone operations (e.g., mesh networks, 4 G, Lo Ra).
- System Integration: Develop and test wireless solutions for multi-drone coordination and communication with ground stations.
- Optimization: Improve signal strength, reliability, range, and throughput in diverse environments.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve communication issues during simulations and live operations.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards (FCC, ETSI, etc.).
- Collaboration: Work alongside hardware, software, and systems teams for seamless integration.
- Innovation: Explore emerging wireless technologies and recommend suitable implementations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in EEE, ECE, or related fields.
- 2+ years of experience in wireless communication system development.
- Strong knowledge of RF communication, antenna design, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, etc.
- Experience with wireless network simulation and performance analysis tools.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, MATLAB, or similar tools for signal processing and simulation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
