Job Description
After moving a very large e-commerce site from CS-Cart to WooCommerce our admin area—and, to a lesser extent, the public storefront—slowed to a crawl. My in-house developer needs an outside set of eyes, so I'm commissioning a one-off technical audit that pinpoints exactly why the stack is under-performing and what we should tackle first.
Scope of the review
The slow-downs appear everywhere, yet are most painful when navigating the WordPress dashboard. I want you to dig into three main layers—database queries, server configuration, and the collection of plugins/themes—then surface any other hidden culprits you discover along the way. Feel free to run profilers, inspect slow query logs, benchmark PHP, Nginx/Apache, Redis or object cache settings … whatever gives us hard evidence.
