Job Description

SLVEX, a US-based marketing agency, is seeking a WordPress Developer with basic knowledge of design and image editing to join our remote team in Mexico. We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented, and proactive individual capable of developing, maintaining, and optimizing WordPress websites, collaborating closely with our design and marketing team.

Responsabilidades

  • Develop and maintain WordPress websites (themes, plugins, structure).
  • Install and configure WordPress on hosting, including domains, databases, and SSL certificates.
  • Make design and style adjustments using visual builders (Elementor, Divi, or similar).
  • Edit basic images and graphic elements to optimize site appearance.
  • Update content, resolve errors, and improve overall site performance.
  • Ensure website functionality, security, and compatibility.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to guarantee a coherent and professional user experience.

Requisitos

  • Proven experience developing WordPress sites.
  • Basic knowledge of web design and image editing tools (Canva, Photoshop, or similar).
  • Ability to install and configure WordPress on various hosting services.
  • Basic knowledge of PHP (desirable, not mandatory).
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Intermediate English proficiency.
  • Own equipment and stable Internet connection.
  • Attention to detail, responsibility, and collaborative attitude.

Deseable

  • Basic knowledge of SEO and speed optimization.
  • Familiarity with popular plugins (Yoast, Contact Form 7, WP Rocket, etc.).Experience migrating sites between hostings or domains.
