Role Overview

Were seeking a highly skilled Senior WordPress Developer to lead and execute custom WordPress development projects. This role requires expertise in creating custom themes, plugins, troubleshooting complex issues, and delivering high-performance, SEO-optimized websites.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end WordPress development projectsfrom wireframes to final deployment.
• Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch.
• Maintain and optimize existing websites for performance, SEO, and user experience.
• Collaborate with design, content, and digital marketing teams to execute project goals.
• Troubleshoot complex issues related to performance, plugin conflicts, security, and updates.
• Ensure responsive and cross-browser compatibility across all devices.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in WordPress development and implement best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX .
• Deep understanding of WordPress architecture, custom post types, and REST API.
• Experience with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
• Knowledge of SEO optimization and performance tools (GTMetrix, Lighthouse, etc.).
• Familiarity with Git version control and deployment workflows.
• Ability to integrate third-party APIs and custom solutions.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
