Position Summary:

We’relooking for a WordPress Developer with strong SEOexpertiseto manage and enhance our online presence for a service-based business in the cleaning and restoration industry. This role requires someone who can build high-performing pages that not only look professional but also rank locally, load fast, and generate qualified leads.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience in WordPress development (themes, custom templates, plugin setup, troubleshooting).
  • Proven background in Local SEO and lead-generation website optimization.
  • Solid understanding of technical SEO, including site structure, page speed, indexing, and schema markup.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager.
  • Experience working with service-based industries such as HVAC, plumbing, or restoration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop,maintain,andoptimizeWordPress websites to maximize local search visibility and conversions.
  • Implement on-page and technical SEO fixes to improve rankings across target service areas.
  • Build and update landing pages for new service offerings and local markets.
  • OptimizeGoogle Business Profile listings for maximum local exposure.
  • Perform site audits toidentifyspeed, performance, or technical issues, and implement solutions quickly.
  • Ensure the website structure aligns with search intent and local targeting (city/service-based pages).
  • Integrate tracking and analytics tools for performance measurement and lead attribution.
  • Collaborate with marketing to align web updates with paid ad campaigns and seasonal promotions.
  • Regularlymonitorwebsite performance, rankings, and lead flow toidentifyareas of improvement.
