Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Workato Integration Developer with strong hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and managing enterprise integrations. The ideal candidate will work closely with architects and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable integration solutions using the Workato platform.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Design & Development

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain integrations using Workato recipes, triggers, and connectors
  
• Build complex workflows with multi-step logic, conditional processing, retries, and robust error handling
  
• Develop custom connectors using REST and SOAP APIs when standard connectors are insufficient
  
• Apply best practices to ensure scalability, performance, maintainability, and reusability of recipes
  

Architecture & Solution Design

• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Technical Leads to define integration architecture and standards
  
• Translate business requirements into effective technical integration solutions
  
• Define data mapping, transformation, validation, and enrichment across multiple systems
  
• Recommend and implement optimal integration patterns (real-time, event-driven, batch, async, etc.)
  

Platform Management & Governance

• Manage Workato environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Production) and support release/deployment activities
  
• Establish and adhere to governance standards for naming conventions, versioning, documentation, and access control
  
• Monitor integrations using Workato dashboards and logs; proactively identify and resolve issues
  
• Implement security best practices including authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure credential management
  

Testing, Support & Optimization

• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT cycles
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with root cause analysis and preventive actions
  
• Optimize existing recipes for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
  
• Provide hypercare and ongoing operational support as required
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core Skills

4+ years of strong hands-on experience with the Workato platform

Expertise in:

• Workato recipes, triggers, actions, and connectors
  
• Recipe lifecycle management and deployment
  
• Error handling, retries, and exception management
  
• REST APIs, SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and Webhooks
  
• Authentication methods such as OAuth 2.0, API Keys, Basic Auth, JWT, etc.
  

Integration & Enterprise Systems

• Experience integrating SaaS and enterprise applications, including:
  
• ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  
• CRM platforms (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
  
• WMS, Finance systems, and custom in-house applications
  
• Strong understanding of data transformation, mapping, and integration patterns
  

Supporting Skills

• Strong SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases
  
• Understanding of event-driven and asynchronous processing
  
• Experience with version control systems and CI/CD concepts (preferred)
  
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an added advantage
  

Certification (Mandatory)
