Workforce Coordinator – Events & Security
(WA-Based, National Operations)

Location: Perth, Western Australia

Employment Type: Full-time, Monday–Friday (flexible rosters to suit industry and applicant needs)

We are seeking an organised and proactive Workforce Coordinator to support large-scale event and security operations nationwide. Based in WA, you’ll coordinate up to 350 staff per day across concerts, festivals, sporting events, venues, and static security sites. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll manage rostering, scheduling, and staff support across multiple states.

Key Responsibilities

  • Rostering and scheduling shifts for event and security staff across multiple sites operating 24/7.
  • Allocate staff based on qualifications, licences, fatigue management, and operational needs.
  • Act as a key point of contact for up to 850+ staff across multiple platforms.
  • Provide onboarding support to new staff, including inductions and pre‑event briefings.
  • Increase staffing engagement through clear communication and proactive support.
  • Maintain and manage staff databases and compliance documentation.
  • Monitor and respond to a shared inbox and staff queries.
  • Respond quickly to last-minute changes, call‑outs, and event-driven staffing demands.
  • Assist with post‑event attendance tracking, reconciliations, reporting, and general administrative or ad‑hoc tasks.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Experience using web‑based rostering/scheduling systems.
  • Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with web‑based messaging platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent multitasking, time management, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and listening skills.
  • Experience providing onboarding support to new staff.
  • Ability to improve staff engagement through clear communication and proactive support.

Desirable (not essential):

  • Experience or knowledge of the security or event management industries.

Work Arrangement

  • Full‑time, Monday–Friday role.
  • Flexible rosters to accommodate industry demands and staff needs.
  • WA-based, with exposure to national events and operations.
