STMicroelectronics in Stuttgart offers an attractive opportunity to work in the application team for Embedded Automotive Microcontroller
 
Become part of a team dedicated to supporting Automotive customers. Be close to one of the biggest account in the automotive industry and collaborate with them to get our products in their latest applications. Your help in developing support tools (HW or Firmware/Software) for modern Automotive Microcontrollers will move our customers forward. Final target applications are Adaptive control systems, Motor control applications, Automotive communications, Electrification, Security and Safety. Take the challenge and work with the latest technologies in complex automotive microcontroller based on ARM cores

Your accountabilities among others will be

  • Development of low-level SW for demo and testing purposes.

  • Development of basic drivers for the HW in assembler and C language. 

  • Testing and measurement on HW with professional equipment 

  • Documentation of outcome and its internal communication. 

    • Profile

    You will need: 

  • Basic knowledge of electronics.
  • Proficiency Knowledge of C programming language. 
  • Experience in programming of embedded microprocessors with ARM core
  • Knowledge of setting up C projects for microcontroller programming and of compilation environment 
  • Familiar with the usage and debugging of integrated peripherals on a register level.
  • Knowledge of English at a communicative level 

    • Advantages are

  •  Experience with the usage of T32, UDE or iSystem debugger
  • Hands on experience of soldering on PCBs
  • Experience with scripting and GUI development in Python
  • Privat electronic application project developed in past.
