The Role You Could Play

Reporting to MECCA’s Head of Workplace Relations,you’llbe a driving force in bringing our workplace relations strategy to life. This role is hands-on: wedon’tjust design solutions—we help implement them. You will:

  • Providetimely,practicaland people-centred workplace relations advice across Australia and New Zealand.

  • Support performance management, conduct, grievances, terminations and leave matters with both compliance and commercial awareness.

  • Maintain and uplift MECCA’s workplace relations policies, employment contracttemplatesand frameworks.

  • Monitor legislative and industrial changes and translate them into clear business plans or actions.

  • Lead or contribute to key projects such as compliance reviews, policy reform, Awardinterpretationand strategic workforce initiatives.

    You’llbe a passionate employment and industrial relations specialist who can simplify complexity and turn strategy into action. You will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, Employment Relations,Lawor a related discipline.

  • Proven experience coaching leaders and People Partners through people matters with confidence and clarity.

  • Demonstrated success delivering WR/ER/HR projects and managing change.

  • A collaborative and solutions-focused mindset, with the ability to translate complexity into practical, actionable guidance.
