Workshop HD Mechanic

CrewSELECT are looking for multiple workshop HD Mechanics for an industry leader in industrial earth moving equipment.

Job Overview:

• Maintain, refurbish, and service all industrial sized mobile equipment including excavators, dozers, crushers, dumpies and more.
• Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components. Diagnose and service a variety of hydraulic systems. 

What’s in it for you:

• $76 to $80 flat per hour.
• 10 hour days (6am to 4pm).
• Based in Bayswater but they are relocating to Muchea in August/September of this year.
• Ongoing with the intention for permanent full time employment for the right candidates.
• Large and spacious workshop.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Proven experience maintaining mobile equipment within a large workshop environment.
  • Ideal Models: CAT Heavy earth moving vehicle experience. Ideal Models: Loaders – 988 & 992, Haul Packs 777, 785 & 179, Dozer D10
• SOLID CAT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
• Some hydraulic exposure would be highly regarded.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Committed to move with the business relocation.
• Trade tooling is required.
• Ability to problem solve with a positive ‘can do’ attitude.

Tickets and Licenses Required:

• Trade certificate.
• Drivers license.
• Overhead crane and forklift would be beneficial but not mandatory.
