About the Role:

Are you a skilled and experienced Technician/Team Leader ready to transition into more of a leadership position? Reporting directly to the Branch Service Manager, as a Workshop Supervisor you will assume a key role in leading and guiding our dedicated team of Workshop Technicians and Apprentices.

Please note this is very much a hands‑on position, requiring the overseeing and managing of the workshop operations, including maintenance, service, and repair on our products, with a primary focus on ensuring efficiency, safety, and adherence to TMHA’s quality standards.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a constant and accurate work forecast schedule, in conjunction with the Service Manager.
  • Liaise with External Suppliers and the Spare Parts Department to ensure timely availability of all items required to meet the set Work Forecast Schedules.
  • Ensure all repairs to customer equipment are verified and carried out in line with instruction from Field Service Manager and Area Service Representative.
  • Ensure all STR equipment undergoes a full de‑hire inspection and that all equipment is returned to TMHA standards before the next hire period.
  • Maintain the integrity of the ancillary equipment chain relating to the STR Fleet and Customer owned units at all times.
  • Liaise with the transport department to ensure equipment required for delivery is correctly located and ready at the agreed time.
  • Calculate and provide Load Capacity Plates as requested for new equipment. Ensure accuracy and timely procurement to coincide with delivery schedules.

About You:

  • A high level of material handling product knowledge would be beneficial.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting knowledge and ability, desirable.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (M3) - highly regarded.
  • Familiarity with WHS regulations and compliance requirements – safety qualification highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong work ethic with a high level of attention to detail.
