Workshop Supervisor

Overview

Westcoast Profilers requires a qualified heavy-duty mechanic/fitter to supervise the plant maintenance and workshop activities at our Gnangara Branch. Our fleet consists of road profilers, trucks, bobcats, floats and various earth moving equipment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for scheduled service and maintenance across a large variety of gear
• Organise scheduled machine inspections.
• Coordinate resources including parts, and machines that are in workshop for repair.
• Plant maintenance and repair budgets.
• Able to work independently.
• Effective time management and attention to detail.
• Maintain service records.
• Maintain a high level of presentation standards.
• Keep the workshop clean and tidy.

Qualifications

• Must be trade-qualified.
• Qualified Heavy vehicle Mechanic /Fitter with at least 5 (five) years’ experience on profilers, trucks, earthmoving equipment, light vehicles and small equipment.
• Demonstrated abilities in troubleshooting, diagnostic and preventative maintenance skills.
• Able to work independently.
• Effective time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to pass Pre‑Employment Medical, Drug and Alcohol Screen.
• Maintain a high level of presentation standards.
