Are you ready to get hands-on and build a real career in engineering? Just left school and wondering what’s next? We’re looking for a motivated young person who’s ready to learn a trade, develop real skills, and become part of a friendly, supportive workshop team here in Kettering.

Training

You’ll be taught how to:

• Use equipment like bandsaws, pallet stacker, inspection equipment, hand tools, all engineering workshop equipment.
• Read technical drawings and understand how to turn them into real components.
• Learn and follow workshop health and safety, safe working practices.
• Help in day-to-day workshop tasks and learn by doing.

Progression

As you progress, you’ll:

• Assist with the CNC milling machines and lathes.
