Summary

The Account Manager is responsible for soliciting potential business by providing professional customer satisfaction and fostering new client relationships. Likewise, the Account Manager builds upon existing relationships to sustain existing customers’ business and improve profitability as outlined in the corporate mission statement.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Completes sales calls both by telephone and in-person visits
  • Solicit business from various sources and grow relationship network
  • Ensure rate increases are current and negotiated with the clients in a timely fashion
  • Prepare rate requests, bring to proposal stage and follow-up in a timely manner
  • Field client calls regarding service inquiries and escalation if required
  • Assist with providing rate quotes to customers
  • Sustains and provides regular communication with operations team
