xEV Battery Management System: MGR/SMGR

Role:

• Hybrid Electric Vehicle Battery Management System Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Understand electrical architecture of HEV/EV
• Define HEV/EV Battery Management System architecture
• Conceptualization, Design and Development of xEV Lithium-Ion Battery Pack Controls
• Requirement engineering of BMS with FuSa compliance
• BMS Function architecture control algorithm creation such as SOC, SOH, cell balancing, life optimization, safety controls, cell characterization, energy management, thermal management
• Work with xEV system team to identify the BMS electrical interfaces, calibration and testing team to generate battery system DVP
• ISO 26262 compliance for BMS, DFMEA
• Adopt model-based design approach in BMS
