TeacherActive are working closely with a friendly and supportive Primary School in North Birmingham, who are looking to appoint a Year 1 Teacher on a full-time basis (5 days per week).
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher who enjoys delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupils during the crucial transition from EYFS to KS1, and taking full ownership of their classroom responsibilities.
The Role:
The successful candidate will take on the full responsibilities of a class teacher, including:
Planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality Year 1 lessons
Assessing, tracking, and supporting pupil progress
Creating a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment
Managing classroom behaviour effectively
