Job Description

We are looking for YouTube Operations Assistant Manager who will oversee the daily operations, optimization, and growth of our entertainment-focused YouTube channels , including film, series, television, celebrity, music, and pop culture content. This role requires a strong understanding of audience behavior, trends, talent-led content, and platform dynamics to maximize reach, engagement, and monetization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end operations for one or multiple entertainment YouTube channels
  • Schedule and publish video content on the channels
  • Optimize titles, descriptions, thumbnails, tags, and playlists for discoverability
  • Track entertainment trends, pop culture moments, and viral formats for rapid execution
  • Drive growth across long-form videos, shorts, and live streams
  • Improve key metrics such as watch time, retention, CTR, and subscriber acquisition
  • Analyze channel and video performance using YouTube Studio and analytics tools
  • Share regular insights on content performance, audience preferences, and peak timings
  • Recommend content formats and storytelling improvements based on data
  • Manage monetization settings and revenue optimization strategies
  • Handle copyright, music rights, Content ID claims, and geo-blocking where applicable
  • Ensure compliance with platform policies, brand safety, and legal guidelines
  • Oversee audience engagement, comment moderation, and community posts

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of strong hands-on experience managing entertainment or media YouTube channels
  • Deep understanding of YouTube algorithms, trends, and audience behavior
  • Proven ability to handle high-volume content and tight release schedules
  • Expertise in YouTube Studio, analytics, and content optimization
  • Excellent writing, coordination and communication skills
  • Understanding of copyright, music publishing, and digital rights
  • Familiarity with multilingual or regional entertainment audiences
  • Fast, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong editorial judgement and audience-first thinking
  • Proactive problem solver with platform expertise
