Job Title: SAP TM Functional Consultant

Location: Pan India (Remote/Hybrid/Onsite options as per project needs)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP TM (Transportation Management) Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience in configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP TM solutions for various transportation and logistics processes across industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage end-to-end SAP TM implementations (Design, Configuration, Testing, Deployment, Support).

Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP TM functional specifications.

Configure SAP TM processes including:

Transportation planning (manual & optimizer-based)

Carrier selection and freight tendering

Freight orders and freight bookings

Charge management, freight settlement, and invoice verification

Collaborate with stakeholders from logistics, supply chain, and IT departments.

Work on integration aspects between SAP TM and ECC/S/4HANA, EWM, GTS, or third-party systems.

Conduct functional testing, system integration testing (SIT), and support UAT.

Provide post-go-live support and drive continuous improvements.

Prepare training materials and conduct user training.

Required Skills:

6–10 years of SAP functional experience with minimum 4+ years in SAP TM.

Strong understanding of SAP TM 9.5 or S/4HANA Embedded TM.

Expertise in:

Order Management (Freight Units/Freight Orders)

Planning & Execution

Charge Calculation & Settlement

Tracking and Event Management

Experience in Freight Settlement & Integration with SAP FI.

Good knowledge of Master Data relevant to TM (e.g., Business Partners, Locations, Transportation Lanes).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with global teams.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with SAP PI/PO or CPI integration scenarios.

Knowledge of SAP EWM, SAP GTS, or SAP YL is an added advantage.

Basic ABAP debugging skills.

TM certification or relevant SAP certifications is a plus.

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Logistics, or related field.
