Urgent Opening: Zonal Sales Manager (ZSM)

Designation: Zonal Sales Manager (ZSM)

Job Location: Delhi Headquarter 

Note: Candidate should handle North India  with strong experience in these markets.


Role Objective:

The Zonal Sales Manager (ZSM) will lead sales operations across South India, driving primary and secondary sales targets for OTC/Consumer Healthcare products, ensuring strategic execution, team leadership, and alignment with Sun Pharma’s vision.


Total Experience:



  • Minimum 12 + years in OTC/Consumer Healthcare/FMCG sales.

  • Proven success as Area Sales Manager (ASM) or Field Sales Manager (FSM), consistently surpassing sales targets.

  • Prior experience in South India markets as ASM / FSM / RSM /  ZSM preferred.

  • Expertise in managing stockists, distributors, and frontline sales teams.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and execute zonal sales strategies to achieve primary and secondary sales targets for OTC/Consumer Healthcare products.

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise ASMs and FSMs to drive sales performance and trade activations.

  • Ensure brand-wise coverage and penetration to meet sales goals.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, stockists, and chemist outlets.

  • Oversee trade activations, promotional schemes, and Below-the-Line (BTL) activities.

  • Conduct training programs for ASMs, FSMs, and Sales Officers to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.

  • Perform bottom-up sales forecasting and strategic planning.

  • Monitor distributor stock levels to ensure freshness and market hygiene.

  • Ensure timely, accurate reporting of sales, market activities, and competitive intelligence.

  • Manage CRM initiatives and loyalty programs, relaying feedback to senior management.

  • Resolve queries from ASMs, FSMs, and field teams, coordinating with headquarters.

  • Conduct market surveys to identify opportunities and drive growth.

  • Foster a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous learning.

  • Utilize Point of Sale materials and ensure effective merchandising.

  • Monitor and process claims, ensuring timely resolution.


Eligibility Criteria:

Education: Graduate in any discipline.

Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills; strong stakeholder management; computer literacy for online reporting and analytics.

Experience: 12+ years in OTC/OTX/Consumer Healthcare sales, with a proven track record from leading companies.

Industry Preference: Candidates from reputed OTC/OTX/FMCG companies preferred.
