Zone Maintenance Tech

Hours: Full-Time/40 Hours

Position Summary:

The Zone Maintenance Tech works under the supervision of the Engineering Operations Supervisor and repairs and maintains assigned hospital areas consistent with that of a health care institution and in compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.

  • Acts as Engineering Dept. representative with hospital staff in assigned areas and a liaison with Plant Operations personnel
  • Provides immediate response to area requests and/or determines needs for Plant Operations assistance
  • Performs a variety of duties with the exception of areas requiring specialized licensing, unless the specific license is retained by the individual
