Job Description
We are seeking experienced Zscaler Engineers to support and enhance a Zero Trust security architecture for a large healthcare enterprise. The environment includes hospitals, clinics, remote clinicians, medical devices, and cloud workloads, with strict compliance to HIPAA and healthcare security standards. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and support Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA). Manage secure access for: Hospital users Remote clinicians Third-party vendors Clinical and non-clinical applications Integrate Zscaler with IAM platforms (Azure AD / Okta). Configure and optimize: URL filtering, SSL inspection, DLP, sandboxing App Segmentation and Access Policies (ZPA) Troubleshoot access, latency, and policy-related issues across clinical applications. Requirements 610 years of overall experience in network and security engineering. 3+ years of hands-on experience with Zscaler ZIA and ZPA implementations. Strong understanding of Zero Trust Architecture principles. Experience working in healthcare environments (hospitals, clinics, or clinical networks) is highly preferred. Hands-on experience with: Secure web gateways Network security concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, VPNs) Cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred) Proven experience integrating security solutions with Azure AD / Okta or similar IAM platforms. Knowledge of HIPAA compliance, healthcare security standards, and data privacy regulations. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, especially in complex, high-availability environments. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with global teams and US-based clients. Relevant certifications such as Zscaler, CCNP Security, CISSP, or equivalent are a plus.
